What is the difference between Ninety Roll’s two snow pants collections: Downtown and Pinnacle?
Downtown Vs Pinnacle Ninety Roll
Many customers ask us, “What is the difference between the two collections?” Here’s a clear breakdown of the differences between the two collections to help you pick the best pair for your next ski trip.
The Downtown pants feature a more baggy, more relaxed fit compared to the Pinnacle pants in the same size.
What They All Have in Common: What Downtown and Pinnacle pants share is the same quality and fabric: they all have a waterproof rating of 30,000 mm (hydrostatic head) protection, Breathability rating of 12.000g/m2/24h, and a PFC-free DWR finish coating. They are all made from the same fabric, just in different cuts and styles; we use T800 polyester for our fabric. Ninety Roll makes both the insulated snow pants the shell snow pants.
Difference:
The Downtown collection: A street-style fit with a low crotch and extra baggy features, baggier than Pinnacle collection and most of the baggy snow pants brands in the market. It is perfect for those who prefer a relaxed fit and an oversized snowboard vibe. It lets you move around as freely as you wish and gives you that authentic street-style snow outfit.
The Pinnacle Collection: Not too baggy, not tight, with a standard crotch and a balanced baggy fit, still almost as baggy as the majority of baggy pants brands on the market. A more streamlined cut that fits perfectly and has a standard crotch height. It’s ideal for riders who want to move around more flexibility. All the Pinnacle/Pinnacle Pro/Apex line pants are the same cut.
